Instant Access:
As a progressive web application, there's no need for downloads or installations. Simply scan a QR code from anywhere on the premises, like inside the golf shop or the golf cart, to instantly access all the great features of CaddieGPS.
Hole Selection Panel:
After launching CaddieGPS, select the hole being played from the Hole Selection Panel, to open the GPS Map.
GPS Map:
The GPS Map displays a satellite map of the selected hole, which includes:
- The golfer's location, indicated by the X-Marker,
- The center of the green's location, indicated by the Target,
- The distance to the center of the green from the golfer's location, presented by the Distance Indicator.
The GPS Map updates in real-time, to dynamically position the player's X-Marker on the map as they play through the hole, which in turn updates the Distance Indicator.
Interactive Range Finder:
The GPS Map also acts as an interactive Range Finder. Players simply drag the Target to any feature on the course, such as the front or back of the green, or to a hazard, to instantly get distance readings from their current location.
Live Distance Tracker:
If a player wishes to go hands-free, for example placing the device in the cart holder, use the Live Distance Tracker that continously monitors and clearly displays the real-time distance to the green.
At any time, go back to the GPS Map to get distance ranges to any other hole feature.
Score Hole:
When viewing the GPS Map or the LDT, players can add their score for the hole, which saves and presents the score on the Scrorecard.
Scorecard:
At any time, players can view their detailed Scorecard.
Scorecards are tailored to the golfer. In addition to showing the player's scores, based on the player's profile, the Scorecard presents the Tee/Total Yards, Course Rating, Par, Stroke Index and Handicap, and calculates the Net Score based on these values.
Scorecards can also be downloaded and shared.
Promote Services & Generate Revenue:
CaddieGPS is tailored to your golf course, featuring your logo and presenting clickable links.
Cross-Promote your golf course's restaurant, pro-shop or other services. Also, opt to display a clickable ad to a sponsor's site.
Using promotional ad space generates revenue and will pay for the service itself.
CaddieGPS Add-On Service: (Optional)
As an optional add-on service, track the location of each golfer using CaddieGPS on the course, in real-time. See all the players in one view, or search for a specific golfer based on their CaddieGPS Player ID. Additionally, review visitor statistics, to see how CaddieGPS is being utilized, e.g. how many visitors clicked on the ad. Contact us for more details.
iMap-GIS: Course Inspection - Now Available!
iMap-GIS is now available to golf courses as a powerful tool for conducting course inspections and communicating detailed information with maintenance staff. Easily record any deficiency by taking photos and notes to automatically place a marker at its precise location on the course. Course inspections can then be shared with maintenance staff, providing clear details and exact locations for a faster, more effective response.
Getting Started:
Set up is quick and easy. Provide us with the following information, and we'll have CaddieGPS live, for your golf course in no time.
1) Golf Course Logo: light on dark background in .png or .eps format,
2) Scorecard.
4) Up to 3 URL links to your services, such as the pro-shop, restaurant, etc..
